A separate installation of our library management system has been built to accommodate the music library, comprising various instrumental works. This process has seen approximately 2000 original pieces catalogued and is ongoing. This catalogue is primarily for the use of teachers to easily search the collection, but also, importantly, for works to be issued to individual music tutors and students while tracking these expensive resources.

This library is operated under the guidance of the Senior Library staff but all cataloguing is done within the Music Department itself. Administration staff use the library management system at admin level, resulting in reduced burden on the main library staff.

Gaining the ability to track items, the College Media Department have the facility to directly use the library cataloguing system to issue and return various pieces of media equipment. This is a satellite collection of resources with the Media Technician managing all issues and returns. The Technician, with guidance, also catalogues the equipment using barcodes under the umbrella of the Senior Library.

A separate installation of our library management system has been built to accommodate the Outdoor Education resources, comprising various backpacks, tents, sleeping mats, satphones, etc. This process has seen approximately 300 items catalogued and is ongoing. This catalogue is primarily for the use of teachers to easily search the collections and for items to be issued to specific staff, students or camps while tracking these expensive resources.

This library is operated under the guidance of the Senior Library staff who also catalogued the initial collection.

The library directly supports the literacy programme within the Junior School by providing support and management to the guided reading programme and the home reading programme. This specialty library is integrated into the catalogue, however, the guided reading resources are attached to each room and year level while home readers are stored in the Junior School administration area.
