Students are loving the vodcasts which include different levels of complexity, combinations of modalities and interactivity and can be viewed and reviewed at any time.

While parents would love to be able to see them all, it is sometimes hard for the younger boys to articulate all they have done during that day. Many times, students will share one small activity, or even say "not much" when asked about their day on the car ride home.

Is it Tik Tok that is stealing precious moments with your son? We know that teen Social Media usage has increased and Tik Tok is a current app of choice. If you're afraid you've lost your boy to his 'significant others' in the Social Media space, there is hope. You can provide a buffer between kids and iffy content by watching or making videos together with your teen. Time to Talk Tik Tok! Your teen will be surprised that you are interested in Tik Tok and you'll be surprised when he engages in the conversation with you.

What is less understood is whether the typing or handwriting of notes influences the level of comprehension and retention. The critical stages of note-taking include recording and summarising material; but is typing or handwriting more effective than the other?
